Shaftless Spirals The heart of any conveying system is the shaftless spiral. Without a properly designed and manufactured spiral, the remainder of the fabricated pieces can be compromised. DAGYEE offers the strongest and most robust alloy steel spirals manufactured from high tensile alloy steels, cold formed in a multitude of close tolerance diameters and pitches, up to 762 mm (30 inch) in diameter, and greater.

Single flight
Use the following conditions to describe a single spiral (without blade):
Outer diameter (OD)
Spacing (the distance between adjacent flights). Many manufacturers only provide a pitch equal to the diameter.
Rebar size (if known). The size of the rod determines the inner diameter.
The spiral is usually manufactured in a right-handed configuration, but it can also be manufactured in a left-handed configuration. The spiral can be used in push, pull or reverse mode. Depending on the design and application, the spiral can be with or without an insert (second spiral).​

Double flight
The description standard of single helix (double helix) with insert is as follows:
Outer diameter (OD)
Pitch (linear distance between two flights)
Bar size (if known).
